Personally, I like my salsa to be tangy, salty, fruity and spicy. The combination of sweet mango, fresh cilantro and hot jalapeño always makes me smile. It hits all the right notes and ends with a clean finish. This is a quick and simple fresh salsa recipe that’s vibrant, healthy and tasty! And it pairs beautifully with a bowl of guasacaca or guacamole.
The ingredients are minimal and very easy to find: jalapeño, tomatoes, mango, red onions, garlic, cilantro, lime, hot sauce and good olive oil. And if you are feeling a little adventurous, I recommend adding a splash of fish sauce – you won’t believe how good and how well it pairs with sweet and acidic flavors!
Pair this bright salsa with dishes such as Mexican spaghetti squash casserole, roasted delicata squash, Mexican style tofu scramble, and avocado and cheese dumplings.
