Description

This is a bright and fresh salsa recipe that’s medium spicy, tangy and sweet. Serve this refreshing dip alongside heavier dishes for the perfect balanced snack or meal. And it only takes 15 minutes to make from start to finish!


Ingredients

  • 1 jalapeno (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons red onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 3 large tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 cup mango (peeled, pitted and chopped into small pieces)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro (roughly chopped)
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients for the fresh salsa into a bowl and mix well.
  2. Let stand for 20 minutes.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and serve cold with tortilla chips.
