The mix of frozen strawberries and orange juice gives this cocktail its bright berry hue and is complimented by a shot of gin. The result is a cocktail that is fruity, herbal, and very refreshing!

I’m a sucker for frozen cocktails.

As soon as the weather gets warm I have visions of myself relaxing on a chaise lounge and holding a frozen drink somewhere utopian. I may be from the Great White North but a part of me thinks I should have been born in Hawaii.

My mood instantly changes – I become brighter and much more relaxed. All I want to do is invite people over for drinks and catch up on what they’ve been up to. My kitchen pass-through window becomes the most intimate tiki bar in Brooklyn where only the best cocktails are sampled.

One such cocktail is this strawberry orange blossom. Because it’s so refreshing and bursting with fruity flavors, it’s become a big hit this summer in my kitchen!

It’s also super easy to put together! Only 4 ingredients are required to make this cocktail:

  • Frozen strawberries
  • Orange juice
  • Gin
  • Sweet vermouth

Throw everything in a blender along with some ice cubes and blend until smooth. Voilà!

Serve this strawberry orange blossom in a clear glass to show its vibrant color. You can also add garnishes like I did or add a fun patterned straw (polka dots, plaid, etc.) to give it a fashionable flair.
