Description
An easy fragrant garlic fried rice that can be served as a side or a main.

- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups day old Japanese rice
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon powdered chicken stock
- Soy sauce
- Salt and pepper,to taste
Instructions
- In a medium size pan over medium high heat, add the oil, garlic, onions, and a pinch of salt. Cook until the onions are tender – about 3 minutes.
- Add the rice and powdered chicken stock. Toss the rice until the stock has evenly dissolved.
- Season with salt, a dash of soy sauce, and freshly ground black pepper. Serve.
Notes
Keep the leftover in a storage container and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
