Description

Finger sandwiches with a twist! Add wasabi or sriracha mayo to these crustless sandwiches and be ready to wow your guests!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 slices sandwich bread
  • 1 large tomato, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 English cucumber, thinly sliced
  • butter
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Wasabi Mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons wasabi paste

Sriracha Mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix the ingredients for the wasabi mayonnaise in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Do the same for the sriracha mayonnaise and set aside.

Making the sandwiches

  1. Cut the crusts off the sandwich bread.
  2. Spread butter on each slice of bread and a little wasabi mayo (or sriracha mayo).
  3. Put two layers of tomatoes on the bread and add two layers of cucumber on top. Season with salt and pepper and finish by topping with another slice of bread.

Notes

These finger sandwiches are eaten on the same day.
