Description

This is a bright and fresh salsa recipe that’s medium spicy, tangy and sweet. 


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 jalapeno, minced
  • 2 tablespoons red onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 large tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup mango, peeled, pitted and chopped into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, roughly chopped
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients: Put all the ingredients for the fresh salsa into a bowl and mix well.
  2. Let it develop flavor: Let the salsa sit for 20 minutes.
  3. Season and serve: Season with salt and pepper and serve cold with tortilla chips.

Notes

Keep the salsa refrigerated in an airtight storage container. It will keep for 2-3 days.
