Quick, easy Calamari and celery stir fry cooked in garlic, butter and soy.


  • 1 pound calamari (cleaned, bodies cut into 1/4 inch thick, tentacles left whole, squid)
  • 3 stalks celery (cut into 1/4 thick pieces)
  • 3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • salt and pepper


  1. In a large pan over high heat, add oil, garlic and cook for one minute.
  2. Add celery and cook for 3 minutes, until celery has begun to soften. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add butter, calamari and cook for 2 minute, stirring to cook evenly.
  4. Turn off the heat, transfer on to a plate and pour soy sauce on top. Season with salt and pepper one last time and serve immediately.
