10.5 ounce can garbanzo beans (drained and rinsed)
10.5 ounce can black beans (drained and rinsed)
1/2 small red onion (finely chopped)
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons champagne vinegar ((or red wine vinegar))
10 leaves basil (finely chopped (optional))
salt and pepper (to taste)
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and toss well. Season well with salt and pepper. Taste the salad again before serving it if it’s going to be in the fridge for a while. It may need more seasoning.
