Description
A sweet, chewy and fruit loaded Apple Crumble Mug Cake Recipe that tastes like you worked on it for hours, but is ready in less than 15 minutes!
Ingredients

For the crumble
- 1/4 cup butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch of salt
For the apple filling
- 2 apples (chopped bite size)
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the crumble and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, add the ingredients for the apple filling and mix well.
- Divide the apple filling mixture among two mugs and top with crumble.
- Microwave each mug, separately, on high for 3-4 minutes, until mixture is bubbly.
- Be careful when you take the mugs out of the microwave as they will be VERY hot!! I use a towel.
- Top with vanilla ice cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serve.
