Description

You’ll only need 5 simple ingredients to make these perfectly browned citrus chili air fryer green beans!


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound green beans, ends trimmed
  • 1 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380ºF.
  2. Place the green beans in a bowl and drizzle the olive oil on top. Toss the beans using your fingers or tongs to coat them evenly. Season with salt and pepper and toss again.
  3. Brush the air fryer basket with a little oil and add the green beans.
  4. Air fry for 6 minutes and take out the basket to toss the green beans.
  5. Air fry for an additional 4 to 6 minutes, until the green beans are tender.
  6. Transfer the green beans to a serving bowl or plate, drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with red pepper flakes. Season with more salt and pepper if necessary.

Notes

Store these air fryer green beans in an airtight storage container. Refrigerate for up to 2 days.
