Description

Smoky, salty, and nutty green beans, sauteed to perfection.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 pound green beans, rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried red chilies, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to boil.
  2. Meanwhile, rinse and cut the ends of each green bean.
  3. When water is boiling, blanch the green beans for 3 minutes. Drain.
  4. In a medium size pan, add the vegetable oil, garlic, ginger and dried chilies. Cook for a minute and add green beans.
  5. Toss and cook for another minute, then add soy sauce and oyster sauce.
  6. Toss well, add sesame oil and turn the heat off. Serve.

Notes

Save these green beans in a storage container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
