Description
Seven minutes is all it takes to make perfectly cooked air fryer asparagus! The crispy and tender spears are dressed in a savory spicy chili crisp sauce and can be served as an appetizer or a side.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound asparagus, ends trimmed
- 1 tablespoon grapeseed oil or vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoons spicy chili crisp
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the airfryer to 400ºF.
- Place the asparagus on a plate and drizzle olive oil on top. Toss the asparagus using your fingers until they are evenly coated with the oil, and season with a little salt and pepper.
- Lay the asparagus spears flat in the air fryer basket, in one layer if you can.
- Close the air fryer and air fry for 7 minutes. If your spears are very big, cook for an additional minute or two.
- Meanwhile, mix the soy sauce and chili crisp in a bowl and set aside.
- Take the asparagus out of the air fryer and transfer them to a plate.
- Drizzle the spicy chili crisp sauce over the asparagus and serve immediately.
Notes
This recipe is best when served immediately when the asparagus spears are perfectly crispy and tender. If you have leftovers, keep the spears refrigerated in an airtight storage container.
They will keep for up to 2 days.
