Shiitake mushrooms are a fantastic addition to soups, risottos, fried rice, pastas, stir fries, and so much more since they are bursting with umami and earthy characteristics. They are not just superfood powerhouses but also delicious!
An edible fungus known as the shiitake mushroom is primarily found in the forests of China and Japan in East Asia. On the rotting wood of trees like the shii tree (Japanese chinquapin), oak tree, maple tree, and beech tree, the mushrooms grow in clusters.
Mix the ingredients for the sauce.
Fry the mushrooms in a skillet.
Add the bamboo shoots to the skillet and pan fry.
Stir in the sauce and toss the shiitake mushrooms and bamboo until the are evenly coated.
