Thai ground pork in chili sauce

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 teaspoon red curry paste
  • 3 ouces ground pork ((about 1/2 cup))
  • 1 large tomato (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Serve with:

  • rice


  1. In a wok or frying pan, heat the oil until a light haze appears. Add the garlic and fry until golden brown. Mix in the curry paste and cook together briefly. Add the pork and stir-fry until the meat loses its pink color.
  2. Add the tomato, stir, and cook for a few seconds. Add the fish sauce, lemon juice, and sugar.
  3. Stir together for 2 minutes to thoroughly blend the flavors. Scoop the mixture into a small bowl and serve with rice.
