Thai ground pork in chili sauce
Taken from Vatcharin Bhumichitr’s ‘Gourmet thai in minutes’, this Thai ground pork recipe doesn’t take more than 15 minutes to prepare! Salty and sour with a hint of curry, this is a great sauce to pour over a hot bowl of rice.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 2 teaspoon red curry paste
- 3 ouces ground pork ((about 1/2 cup))
- 1 large tomato (finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Serve with:
- rice
Instructions
- In a wok or frying pan, heat the oil until a light haze appears. Add the garlic and fry until golden brown. Mix in the curry paste and cook together briefly. Add the pork and stir-fry until the meat loses its pink color.
- Add the tomato, stir, and cook for a few seconds. Add the fish sauce, lemon juice, and sugar.
- Stir together for 2 minutes to thoroughly blend the flavors. Scoop the mixture into a small bowl and serve with rice.
