What is the Paleo Diet?

Also called the caveman diet, the paleo diet is a diet high in protein and low in carbohydrates. Based on how early human gatherers used to eat, the diet consists mainly of meats, vegetables and fruit and excludes grains, dairy and all processed foods.

Being on the Paleo Diet doesn’t mean you must give up on tasty, delicious meals. There are plenty of condiments and ingredients available online and in stores that can be used as substitutes. Click here to see a list.
