This is a light and delicate recipe for crock pot pork tenderloin simmered in a sriracha, honey, miso, soy sauce and vegetable broth. You can use a crock pot, slow cooker or rice cooker for this recipe.

  • 1 1/22 pounds pork tenderloin (preferably grass-fed)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 medium carrots (roughly chopped)
  • 2 stalks celery (roughly chopped)
  • 1 medium onion (roughly chopped)

  • 2 cups vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste (I use awase for this recipe)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce

  1. Trim excess fat off pork tenderloin.
  2. In a bowl, whisk in all of the ingredients for the broth until they have dissolved.
  3. Put pork tenderloin, garlic and onions in crock pot and pour the broth over.
  4. Cook on high for 5-6 hours, until pork is tender.

Crock pot temperature can vary. Refer to your manual to find out the exact temperature of your slow cooker.
